Car key battery change tips

Time has come when manufacturers have switched to keyless remotes. Most of the car keyless remotes use a lithium-ion battery which needs change per 3-5 years. You need to consider the change if the battery runs out or remote could have a failure, and you are just left locked out of your car.

Check if your seller or insurance include the keyless remote battery replacement. You can replace the battery yourself by opening the key fob up and checking the battery model. Try to avoid touching new batteries as it could impair their function. Suggestion: don’t replace your key fob battery over too slow as it could cause dis-link of your fob to your car, causing major problems!
