Texting while driving increases the chances of a crash by 23 times

Did you know, that according to a study by Virginia Tech Transportation Institute, texting while driving increases the danger of causing a collision by a factor of 23. The study was performed by analysing the behaviours of more than one hundred truck drivers. However the authors claim, that similar increase in probability of an accident applies to all car drivers.
