The most common reason why British cars fail the MoT tests are the Lamps Reflectors and Electrical Equipment, and it is responsible for 19% of the rejections. Next ones are the brakes and the suspensions, which are behind 14% and 12% of the failures respectively. One of the rarest reasons for rejection is the malfunction of driving control & speed limiters, which caused less than 1% of the invalid tests.
