Keep high level of energy and attention
When driving a car, you should always stay fully energised, so that you can focus on the road and react instantly to any changes in the situation. Before a long drive, make sure to have enough sleep and eat some food to keep your energy level high. During a trip take a stop whenever you feel tired or sleepy. Eat a snack, have a walk and get some fresh air or even take a quick nap. Don’t start your car before you are ready to do so, as driving in such state of exhaustion poses a very high risk of an accident.
