The wider the tyre, the better it performs

It’s wrong to think that you can fit wider tyres on your Audi s3 and you will have more grip on the road and better performance. You have factory car, not sports car which was designated with those wheel sizes in mind. To be able to have wider wheels you also need to adjust suspension, or you create a very dangerous situation. People like to tune their cars to improve their performance by going away from the original tyre size, but they don’t know it will worsen handling and acceleration. You get yourself more problems rather than resolve.
