Check all the lights regularly

While you can usually quickly spot when your headlights are down, it is not that easy to find out about those at the back of your car when you are inside. Many drivers never check if any of the bulbs didn’t brake and this may pose a high risk. When your braking lights fail, the driver behind you may not realize quickly enough when you push the brakes and he/she may might drive in to your back. So have a walk around your car from time to time to check if all the lights are working and ask someone to confirm if the braking lights are working when you push the pedal.
